About

Strategic Yarn is a multi-disciplinary consultancy.

We bring meaning to work with excellence and culture. We are a team of authentic storytellers and commercial procurement experts, dedicated to assisting our clients to achieve their desired outcomes while creating meaningful social impact.

Working with Country

A respectful partnership.

As a 100% Aboriginal owned and operated company, Strategic Yarn welcomes every opportunity to collaborate with Aboriginal people, government and enterprise.

We are committed to collaborating with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and respectfully representing their stories. Strategic Yarn has worked with the Inner West Council Indigenous Advisory Committee, Meriden School and the Jarara Centre.

In 2020–2023 we facilitated community consultation between key stakeholders and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the Inner West. In 2024, we engaged the Executive Leaders of Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese, Traditional Owners and the Jarara Cultural Centre to deliver a new Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan.

In 2025 we engaged the Jarara Centre in the development of Catholic Schools Parramatta's fee-free initiative — ensuring it respectfully reflected Aboriginal and community priorities. We are currently partnered with Meriden School and the Jarara Centre to deliver their cultural strategic plans.

Through deep learning we have found strong future pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. Serving and giving back to community is non-negotiable.
